Once upon time there was a washerman that had a donkey and a dog. The donkey carried his clothes to the river and the dog guarded
the house at night. One day the dog was given nothing to eat, and that made him angry. That same night a thief broke into the house.
The dog did not bark. On the other hand, the donkey desired to show his owner loyalty. Therefore when he saw the thief, he made a loud
noise. The washerman was woken up by this and went out of bed only to find that nobody was in the house. He shouted at the donkey and
beat him. But the dog laughed in his sleep.
