|Library of Tibetan Works and Archives||
|The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamsala, India has classes for beginners and advanced levels. Classes are held six days a week in three terms, from March to December each year. The teachers are Tibetans who speak English fluently and they are very experienced in teaching westerners. Dharamsala has the biggest population of Tibetans outside of Tibet so there should be a lot of opportunities to practice outside of the classroom.|
|Manjushree Center of Tibetan Culture||
|Manjushree Center of Tibetan Culture offers intensive Tibetan language programs for both beginners and advanced students. They are located in Darjeeling, India. The teachers are native Tibetans and the cost of study is, by western standards, low.|
|International Buddhist Academy||
|The International Buddhist Academy in Kathmandu, Nepal has a 3 month semester every year with simultaneous courses for Buddhist philosophy and Tibetan Language.|

|The Tibet Foundation in London, UK has courses in both modern spoken and written Tibetan. These courses are subject to availability of teachers and number of students.|

|Nagarjuna Language Institute in Ithaca , New York, has classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. They teach classical Tibetan and the aim is to enable the student to read Tibetan philosophical texts.|

|The Tibetan Language Institution in Montana is another place where you can study classical Tibetan. They offer group classes and private tutoring, both in person and via the telephone.|

|We are pleased to have been offering Tibetan Language Classes for 1 year. They are taught at our center by Geshe Jampa Kechok of Sera Monastery. He studied at Oxford and is currently a resident teacher at Emaho Foundation.|

We offer summer courses for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students.
We also offer intensive Translator Training Program . The program is designed to allow a student with no prior knowledge of Tibetan to become an oral translator in 12 months, capable of serving as an interpreter for a Tibetan Buddhist teacher.
